Get to know Dentist Dr. James L. Eggleston, who serves patients in Turlock, California.

An experienced dentist, Dr. Eggleston works with patients at his private practice – Eggleston Dental Care – in Turlock, California. For more than 15 years, he has been perfecting his skills as a cosmetic and implant dentist, striving to help patients obtain the smile they have always wanted.

“When I began my dental career, I knew I wanted to offer my patient’s top-of-the-line dental care. I wanted to be able to offer the healthiest treatment available, and I wanted the opportunity to change the lives of my patients. There is nothing that feels greater than to change someone’s life by creating a beautiful, healthy smile” expressed the doctor.

Practicing the art and science of dentistry since 1992, he graduated with his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of the Pacific at San Francisco School of Dentistry, and achieved his Mastership with the International Congress of Oral Implantology. He then went on to train at the prestigious Misch International Implant Institute under Dr. Carl Misch; completed  his cosmetic dentistry training at the New York University Advanced Aesthetic Dentistry Program under the guidance of Dr. Larry Rosenthal, Dentist to the Stars; and trained in Beverly Hills under Dr. Bill Dorfman from the hit TV show, Extreme Makeover.

Remaining up to date in his field, Dr. Eggleston is an active member of the American Dental Association, the California Dental Association, the Stanislaus Dental Foundation, the Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, and the Crown Council. His extensive education and training in cosmetic and implant dentistry have made him a leader in his field. He has invested thousands of continuing education hours and dollars into learning all he can from leaders in the dental field so that patients can receive the safest, most advanced treatment alternatives for their dental health.

Dentistry, also known as Dental and Oral Medicine, is a branch of medicine that consists of the study, diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of diseases, disorders, and conditions of the oral cavity. Dentists diagnose and treat dental issues and help patients develop better oral hygiene regimens. They clean teeth, correct bite issues, perform surgeries and extractions, and perform other duties to ensure that the teeth and mouth are healthy.
