An accomplished oral and maxillofacial surgeon, Dr. Hoffman tends to patients at his private practice in New York alongside Dr. Lawrence Holtzman, maintaining two conveniently located offices in The Bronx and Glen Cove. 

In 1990, he achieved his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the prestigious New York University College of Dentistry. Building on this foundation, he pursued further specialization by completing a General Practice Residency in dentistry at Jacobi Hospital/Albert Einstein College of Medicine in 1991. His commitment to excellence led him to undertake advanced training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Montefiore Medical Center/Albert Einstein College of Medicine/Jacobi Medical Center, culminating in 1995.

His dedication and proficiency in the field were duly recognized when he was honored with the Leo Davidoff Society Award, a testament to his outstanding residency performance as acknowledged by the Albert Einstein College of Medicine.

Distinguished as a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, Dr. Hoffman is a Fellow of both the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and the American College of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, showcasing his continued commitment to professional development and excellence.

A proud member of the New York State Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, he actively contributes to the advancement of his profession. His dedication to education is evident through his role as an Associate Attending at Columbia New York-Presbyterian Hospital, where he not only practices but also imparts his knowledge to oral surgery residents. 

Oral and maxillofacial surgery specializes in surgery of the face, mouth, and jaws. It is an internationally recognized surgical specialty. Oral and maxillofacial surgeons are dental specialists who treat conditions, defects, injuries, and esthetic aspects of the mouth, teeth, jaws, and face. Their training involves a four-year graduate degree in dentistry and the completion of a minimum four-year hospital surgical residency program.
