A determined infectious disease specialist, Dr. Sobowale is the Medical Director of the Bronx and Columbus Circle offices of AHF Healthcare Centers. She chose to work at AHF because they concentrate mostly on HIV cases, which is her passion. She has been seeing HIV patients for almost 30 years. Her special interest is in general infectious disease treatment in all gender and travel medicine.

Academically, Dr. Sobowale earned her medical degree from St. George’s University School of Medicine. She then went on to complete her internship, residency in internal medicine, and fellowship in infectious disease at Harlem Hospital Center.
As a testament of her continued education, the doctor is board-certified in infectious disease and internal medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM).
