Get to know Gastroenterologist Dr. Michael R. Freeman, who serves patients in Cape Girardeau, Missouri.

Dr. Freeman is a highly-trained gastroenterologist serving as the Founder of The Freeman Clinic in Cape Girardeau, Missouri. Enjoying the personal care he is able to provide, he treats most gastro-related diseases and specializes in gastroenterology and internal medicine.

A 1977 graduate of the University of Tennessee Health Science Center College of Medicine, Dr. Freeman went on to perform his internship, residency in internal medicine, and fellowship in gastroenterology at the said establishment. 

Having been practicing medicine for over four decades, the doctor is board-certified in gastroenterology and internal medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM). The ABIM is a physician-led, non-profit, independent evaluation organization driven by doctors who want to achieve higher standards for better care in a rapidly changing world.

In his professional experience, Dr. Freeman is affiliated with Saint Francis Medical Center and Missouri Delta Medical Center.
