Dr. Gajian is a board-certified pain management specialist who serves patients at his private practice, Pain and Anesthesia Care P.C., in New Brunswick, New Jersey. He offers comprehensive, compassionate, cutting-edge care 

A 1985 graduate of Bogomolets National Medical University in Kiev, Ukraine, Dr. Gajian relocated to the United States to further his education. After initial training in general surgery at the New York Hospital Medical Center of Queens and a primary residency in anesthesiology at St. Vincent’s Medical Center in New York City, he attended a pain management fellowship at the University Hospital of Cleveland, an affiliate of Case Western Reserve University. There, he trained under one of the leading specialists in the field of pain management, Dr. Mark Bosewell. 

Among the doctor’s many achievements, he is board-certified in anesthesiology by the American Board of Anesthesiology, whose mission is to advance the highest standards of the practice of anesthesiology. He is also board-certified in pain medicine by the American Board of Pain Medicine, whose mission is to improve the quality of pain medicine.

Over the years, he has received numerous top physicians honors from several independent research groups. He is the recipient of the On-Time Doctor Award in 2018 and the Patients’ Choice Award in 2018.

Pain management, pain medicine, pain control or algiatry, is a branch of medicine employing an interdisciplinary approach for easing the suffering and improving the quality of life of those living with chronic pain. A pain management specialist is a physician with special training in evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of all different types of pain.
