4620 Bunker Hill Lane Virginia Beach VA, 23462About
I have always felt that I should treat my patients the way I would want my mother or myself treated. so I do my best to take my time with each and every patient. since I am not chained to an office I do not have to practice assembly line medicine. if grandma wants to show me some old pictures, talk about her grandchildren, or tell me about her tomato plants then I am all ears! I also believe that amputation and surgery are the ultimate last resort so I do everything within my powers to prevent these things from occurring.

Foot neuropathy?
there are many other options for neuropathy. capsaicin creme is a start 14 x daily as tolerated. neurontin is also an old standard treatment for neuropathy, sometimes combined with elavil at bedtime for a more restful sleep. newer treatments such as lyrica may also be helpful. anodyne therapy has also proven helpful in some patients. neuropathy is often a multifaceted problem where what works for one person may not work for another. sometimes something as simple as B12 can make a difference. Sounds to me like you may need to find a doctor who specializes more in neuropathy. READ MORE
Wrong orthotics?
Your knee should return to it's previous level of function. Visually compare the 2 sets of orthotics. Do they appear similar? Did you "break-in" the new pair or did you go full-throttle? I would definitely return to where you got them for modification or replacement. Good luck! READ MORE
