Dr. Adam R. Silevitch, DMD, a board-certified pediatric dentist based in New York City, has emerged as a leader in child-centric dental care. Serving young patients at Pediatric Dentists NYC in Greenwich Village and Brooklyn Heights, Dr. Silevitch delivers a boutique-style, minimally invasive approach that blends the latest technology with empathetic, psychology-informed care. Originally from Boston, he earned his bachelor’s in psychology at the University of Massachusetts Amherst before receiving his DMD from Boston University. Dr. Silevitch completed his pediatric dental residency at Columbia University/New York‑Presbyterian Hospital, where he was chief resident, and has been an associate clinical professor at Columbia University College of Dental Medicine since 2011. He joined Pediatric Dentists NYC in 2011 and became a partner in 2016, contributing to the expansion of both practice locations.

Known for his warm, reassuring presence and outstanding communication skills, Dr. Silevitch regularly earns praise for his ability to explain treatments clearly, ease dental anxiety through behavioral techniques and nitrous sedation when needed, and be on call anytime—even outside office hours—to support families with emergencies or questions.

Dr. Silevitch is also a committed community organizer and educator. He founded Nosara Sonríe, a dental outreach initiative in Costa Rica, providing care to hundreds of underserved children annually. He has participated in global missions in Jamaica, the Dominican Republic, and Cape Verde, and has served in leadership roles within major professional organizations, including past president of the New York Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and the Northeastern Society of Pediatric Dentistry.
