He completed his residency in Internal Medicine at the Seton Hall University Program at St. Joseph’s Hospital and Medical Center in Paterson, New Jersey (1994-1997). He further specialized with fellowships in Nephrology and Critical Care Medicine at Lenox Hill Hospital, New York (1997-1999), and the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, New York (2000-2001), respectively. This rigorous training has equipped him to navigate the complexities of critically ill patients and understand how acute health crises intersect with pre-existing medical conditions.
