Get to know Gastroenterologist Dr. Kenneth Miller, who serves patients in New York, New York.

Patients prize Dr. Miller’s dedication, commitment, and expertise in consultative gastroenterology. He works at New York Gastroenterology Associates (NYGA), operating out of the office in the Upper East Side. He also performs endoscopies at The Endoscopy Center of New York.

His areas of clinical focus include colon polypectomy, colon polyps, colonoscopy, Crohn’s disease, gastroenterology, inflammatory bowel disease, irritable bowel syndrome, small bowel obstruction, ulcerative colitis, and upper GI endoscopy.

NYGA is a premier independent gastroenterology practice in New York City. Recognized for providing the highest quality gastroenterological care, all NYGA physicians are board-certified and affiliated with Mount Sinai Hospital or NYU Langone Health. Serving as a Clinical Instructor, he enjoys a reputation as an excellent teacher of endoscopy and clinical gastroenterology at The Icahn School of Medicine.

Throughout his academic career, Dr. Miller completed his undergraduate degree at Cornell University and his medical degree at New York University Grossman School of Medicine where he graduated with highest honors. He then received his internship and residency in internal medicine at Harvard Medical School Beth Israel Hospital. He also completed a fellowship in gastroenterology at Mount Sinai Medical Center where he won the Hope Babette Tang Research Fellowship. 

In pursuit of clinical excellence, the doctor is board-certified in gastroenterology and internal medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM). The ABIM is a physician-led, non-profit, independent evaluation organization driven by doctors who want to achieve higher standards for better care in a rapidly changing world.

A tireless patient advocate, Dr. Miller leverages greater than 15 years of experience, a deep fund of knowledge, and an unsurpassed work ethic to achieve the best clinical outcomes. He has outstanding endoscopic skills, specializing in upper endoscopy and colonoscopy. 

For many years, he was on the Board of Directors of the Digestive Disease Research Foundation.
