An experienced trauma surgeon, Dr. Axelrad is the Chief of Trauma Surgery at Crozer-Chester Medical Center in Upland, Pennsylvania. His broad experience in respiratory failure, as well as trauma cases both blunt and penetrating, positions him as a leading authority in critical care medicine.

Known for his special interests in trauma care for geriatric patients and ventilator management, he approaches each case with a personalized and compassionate touch. He is board-certified in surgery and in Surgical Critical Care, reflecting his commitment to ongoing excellence in his field.
