Yes, it is, with proper treatment. Need to undergo EGD with biopsy by Gastroenterologist to rule out cancer and H.Pylori to see the cause of ulcer and then treatment of peptic ulcer with medications for about six weeks and repeat EGD to see the progress and healing of ulcer. If the biopsy of ulcer is cancer, then treatment is entirely different; you have to see an oncologist. READ MORE
