Walter D. Campbell, MD, received his degree in medicine in 1964 from Wayne State University. He then went on to complete an internship at Evanston Hospital, Northwest University in 1965, his residency in 1967 at Childrens Memorial Hospital, and finally his fellowship in 1971, at John F. Kennedy Child Development Center at the University of Colorado. Sinec beginning his career in medicine, Dr. Campbell has become a member of The American College of Physician Executives, the American Medical Association and the American Association of Pediatrics. In 2009 and 2010 Campbell received the the 'Best Doctors in America' award; he credits his success to taking on opportunities that his experiences in life brought him.
