Shoulder pain?
Weight lifting, if excessive, has a few problem. The way you did, if is done in sitting position, first it causes also back pain disc DJD. Second, it causes AC joint sprain of shoulder, also causes shoulder capsule to stretch and causes shoulder instability and your symptoms. To solve that issue, stop weight lifting. See an orthopedic surgeon. Most of the time, MRI may be normal. You most probably need surgery to correct that problem if physical therapy cannot correct this. READ MORE
Achilles tendon pain and snapping?
Most commonly, achilles tendonitis or tear in my experience has been as a result of gout, uric acid more than 6.0, or combined with hypothyroidism (normal TSH is between 0.3-2.0 in most). READ MORE

Yes. Very common. Take it easy. It may take at times 6 to 8 weeks to heal. Just make sure you do not have a fracture, by seeing your doctor. READ MORE
How long does it take for your knee to heal after meniscus surgery?
It all depends what was done. Usually is only partial meniscectomy done, most are able to walk on it right away. If meniscal repair is done ,it takes six weeks to heal, NWB, then PT is needed. If Micro fracture is done, NWB requires for 6-7 weeks. Pt for 4-6 weeks is needed. READ MORE

What is the cause of osteoporosis?
Your diet is the key. What bone needs to do right are Calcium Phosphate (cheese), Vitamin K2 (in butter), and Vitamin D (over-the-counter 1000-2000 IU in gel form). They need to be taken together. D vitamin is fat soluble, means if you do not take in with cheese, butter, or eggs at the same time, will never get absorbed. READ MORE
What exercises can I do to fix tennis elbow?
Cannot do exercise till it is resolved. Tennis elbow is generally secondary to Gout, or Hypothyroidism, or uncontrolled Diabetes. Usually when you fix the above issues, TE improves within two to three weeks spontaneously. Cold Laser two to three cession also helps in 95% of cases. On occasion, you may need a steroid shot. How can I reduce the growth of hammer toe?
Is usually secondary to second and third to being longer than the first big toe. Therefore if you choose shoes to fit and accommodate the longest toes, it stops the process. It would help if you place a ball of cotton in front of Big toe to adjust the length. READ MORE
My knee hurts a lot, what can I do?
This may help you, but you need to be examined carefully by an orthopedist. Most pain is secondary to very strong quads if the pain is in the sub patella. You need to work on hamstring muscles only, plus your diet, reduce your carbohydrate intake and replace them with good fats. READ MORE

My baby had a fracture when he was 2 months old. Will it heal?
At this age, they usually heal within two weeks without any problem. Must check with your PCP and orthopedic surgeon. READ MORE
Can gout be treated permanently or does it come back?
Uric acid is end product of protein metabolism. When its concentration goes up in the blood stream beyond six, it can deposit in any tissues and cause gouty attack, called gout. To keep its concentration low, use more of good fat than protein, especially fish, chicken and turkey. READ MORE
partial vs full joint replacment
Knee consist of three compartments, if all three replaced is called full joint replacement, if one is done called partial. Due to fact partial is very technically very demanding most need to be converted to total replacement. Those that needs Partial can be managed with brace or high tibial osteotomy and avoid partial. Pain in hip joint happens due to lack of nutrient or inflation. Proper food make you heal Excessive exercise cause more wear and tear Concentrate on good fat for breakfast(cheese,butter,eggs,Avacado) Avoid carbs. Usually pain goes away within four week.
