Adrian S. Graff-Radford, MD, FACS, is a founding partner of Desert Orthopedic Center in Rancho Mirage, California. Born to a family of physicians in Johannesburg, South Africa, Dr. Graff-Radford received his undergraduate and medical degrees from the University of Witwatersrand in Johannesburg. In 1976, Dr. Graff-Radford moved to United States where he completed his four years of orthopedic residency at the University of California, Los Angeles. Through the course of his prestigious career, Dr. Graff-Radford has become a member of the Riverside County Medical Association, California Medical Association, was the founding member of the American Association of Hip & Knee Surgeons, and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, the South African Orthopedic Association and the Association for Arthritic Hip and Knee Surgery. Among his many notable achievements, Dr. Graff- Radford is the recipient of the esteemed 'John Charnley Award' from the Hip Society of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons.
