Dr. Pierpaolo Di Cocco is currently a Clinical Fellow in Abdominal Organ Transplant Surgery at the University of Illinois at Chicago. He received his Medical Degree (2005) and his Surgical Residency (2011) at the University of L’Aquila in Italy. He earned his PhD in Solid Organ Transplantation at the University of L’Aquila (2014) and worked as Clinical Fellow in London (UK), Barts Health NHS Trust and Imperial College NHS Trust, where his clinical activities have been focused in solid organ transplantation, particularly in kidney and pancreas transplantation. He is currently member of the following societies: Italian Society of Organ Transplantation (SITO), British Transplantation Society (BTS) and European Society for Organ Transplantation (ESOT).
