Get to know Otolaryngologist Dr. Wilson DuMornay, who serves patients throughout the State of Florida.

Recognized as one of Florida’s leading experts in surgery for conditions of the ears, nose, and throat, Dr. DuMornay tends to patients at Broward ENT & Aesthetics Services in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. He is well known for his caring and compassionate approach, taking his time to talk to his patients and ease any concerns that they may have. 

Conditions treated by him include acute sinusitis, allergic rhinitis, eustachian tube dysfunction, laryngitis, tonsillitis, thyroid disorders, and more. Expert procedures undertaken by him include lymph node biopsy, endoscopic sinus surgery,  rhinoplasty, balloon sinuplasty, tracheal surgery, thyroid lobectomy, septoplasty, as well as facial plastic and reconstructive surgery.

The doctor is also affiliated with South Florida Surgical Specialists, LLC, whose mission is to provide the highest quality of care to patients with disorders of the ears, nose, throat, head and neck. A 1998 graduate of Temple University, Dr. DuMornay completed his internship at Tulane University in New Orleans, Louisiana. He then went on to complete his residencies in otolaryngology – head and neck surgery at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center and the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in 2000 and 2004, respectively. This was followed by a fellowship in head and neck oncology with microvascular reconstruction at the University of Miami School of Medicine in 2004. 

After his fellowship, as the course of his service to the United States Army, Dr. DuMornay served as a surgeon on a trauma team in Iraq for over a year. During this time, he and his colleagues provided care to soldiers injured in combat, as well as to Iraqi patients in Baghdad and surrounding villages. He would be deployed two more times until leaving the military with the rank of Lieutenant Colonel. 

In addition to being a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS), he is board-certified in otolaryngology by the American Board of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery, which serves the public by ensuring that diplomates meet the standards of training, knowledge, and professionalism through initial and continuing certification.

The author of many articles and medical papers on otolaryngology, Dr. DuMornay is fluent in English, French, and Spanish, which makes him accessible to patients from a variety of cultural backgrounds.
