Dr. Anita Kianimanesh (Dr. Kiani) is the owner/founder of Purple Plum Dentistry. She completed her undergraduate degree in Biology from George Mason University in Virginia, then continued her studies at Georgetown University where she obtained a Master’s degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology with concentration in Biotechnology. Dr. Kiani went on to attend Nova Southeastern University School of Dental Medicine where she earned her Doctorate of Medical Dentistry in 2007. Dr. Kianimanesh continued to practice dentistry in sunny south Florida for five years before relocating to Virginia with her family. She is pleased to be the founder of Purple Plum Dentistry as she has a passion for dentistry and high quality patient care. Kiani is passionate about all areas of dentistry especially cosmetic dentistry and works hard in the pursuit of excellence in the field. She is also experienced in treating elderly patients. She is the official dentist for the Goodwin House, a retirement facility, to accommodate those patients who have difficulty leaving the facility. She is a member of numerous dental associations such as Academy of General Dentistry, American Dental Association, Virginia Dental Association, and American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. dodontic procedures, and performing examinations, among many others.
