Get to know Obstetrician-Gynecologist Dr. Heather Leslie-Brown, who serves patients in Monroe, North Carolina.

Dr. Leslie-Brown has 22 years of experience. She sees patients at her private practice – Brown’s Women’s Care, P.A. in Monroe, North Carolina. which has been in existence for 11 years serving patients of Union and surrounding counties. She specializes in menopause, utilizing bioidentical hormones when appropriate and Monalisa vaginal rejuvination to treat vaginal changes that occur as women age , She is also skilled in laparoscopy, female urinary incontinence, minimally invasive treatment for abnormal uterine bleeding, female sterilization, and pregnancy care. More recently she has added to her practice, a weight loss program and body sculpting with Trusculpt ID. This 15 min procedure results in up to 24 % body fat reduction in the area treated.

Distinguished as a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (FACOG), Dr. Leslie-Brown is board-certified in obstetrics and gynecology by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ABOG). The mission of the ABOG is to define specialty standards, certify obstetricians and gynecologists, and facilitate continuous learning to advance knowledge, practice, and professionalism in women’s health.

Academically, Dr. Leslie-Brown completed her undergraduate education at Howard University in Washington, D.C. and went on to medical school at Temple University School of Medicine in Philadelphia. She completed her residency training in obstetrics and gynecology at SUNY Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, New York.

Since her training, she not only practices  full time, but she has had teaching roles, serving  as Clinical Instructor in the Obstetrics and Gynecology Residency Program at SUNY Upstate Medical University from 2002 to 2006 and more recently, Clinical Professor for the Physician Assistant program at Wingate University, and Nurse Practitioner programs at UNC Charlotte, East Carolina University and Duke University.
