Guillermo Andres Quiceno, MD, obtained his medical degree in 1993 from the Instituto de Ciencias de la Salud CES-Medellin in Colombia. He then continued his medical training in the United States, attending the University of Miami Medical School and Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami for both his internship and residency; followed by his fellowship at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas. His medical career has seen numerous achievements including being named a Fellow of the American College of Rheumatology, 'Best Doctors in Dallas' by D Magazine in 2004, 2006, 2007, 2008 and 2009; 'Best Teacher in the Residency Program' at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in 2001. He attributes his success to enjoying teaching and loving a good challenge. Today, the doctor practices rheumatology at the Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital in Dallas; he also works as a Visiting Professor in Columbia and Assistant Clinical Professor of Internal Medicine at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas.
