Richard F. Herrscher, MD, FACAAI, works for AIR Care, PA of Plano and Dallas, Texas. In practice since 1998 at AIR Care, Dr. Herrscher specializes in the treatment of adult and pediatric asthma, allergy and immunology. He also treats chronic sinusitis of the nose and immunodeficiency syndromes. Dr. Herrscher has additional training in molecular genetics, leading him to study cytokines and their role in infusion therapy. Currently, he serves his alma mater of UT Southwestern as a clinical associate professor in the division of allergy and immunology; a post he has had since 2000. Medical missions are also a part of Dr. Herrscher's work; in the past, he has worked in Honduras.
