M. Obadah Al Chekakie, MD, has devoted himself to to his medical career. In 1999 he obtained his degree from Aleppo University, he then went on to King Saudi University to complete a transitional year of training. Dr. Chekakie eventually attended Loyola University for fellowships in Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology, and Advanced Cardiac Electrophysiology. He practiced in Chicago before moving to Wyoming and joining Cheyenne Cardiology Associates. Dr. Chekakie says, "As with all medical procedures, the goal of electrophysiology is to offer a better quality of life to our patients and attempt to improve survival.” This way of treating patients led him to become a Finalist for Research for the Heart Rhythm Society, in 2007. In 2009 he co-authored "Gemella Morbillorum Prosthetic Valve Endocarditis," for the Congestive Heart Failure Journal;the success of his career is credited to his parents encouraging a higher education.
