Since the age of 12 Dr. Ncama wanted to become a physician. When he was an adult he fulfilled that dream by attending the Royal College of Surgeons in Dublin, Ireland. After graduating in 1971, Dr. Ncama completed further training at Malagro Hospital in Uganda, St. John's Hospital in New Finland, and Vancouver General Hospital. He then finished a fellowship at Grand Falls Hospital. He has since become a fellow of the Canadian Pediatrics Society, and the American Academy of Pediatrics. Today he practices at Cornwall Community Hospital in Cornwall, Ontario, and credits his success to always wanting to take of sick people.
