From the age of 11 Dr. H. David Allick has been a motivated worker, and student, working towards his future goals. He achieved his dreams as a child after receiving his degree in 1979 from Case Western Reserve University in Ohio. This school has seen great development since its creation in 1826. It was not until 1967 that it was established as a complete university worthy of national distinction. Case Western Reserve University then became a leader in both research and academics; it was then nationally known as one of the top ranking schools in the country. There is an endless amount of work put into this institution to maintain a top quality education for those who attend. In August of 2011 it was announced that the dental school Allick is an alumni of is to receive from The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services' Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA), two, five-year grants, totaling nearly $2.6 million supporting pre- and post-doctoral training programs in dental public health. With the renowned training Dr. Allick received, he went on to not only become a dentist, but a leader in his field to be admired by peers and the public alike. Following school he spent two years as Naval Officer before entering a private practice. On the advice of his uncle, he moved to southern Maryland where he foresaw a potential for future development. Always looking toward the ahead, Dr. David, as he is called, has always made strong effort to be on the cutting edge of technology; he was one the first practitioners in the state to become licensed in Perio-Protect system. Today he privately practices in Rockville Maryland at White Flint Dental.
