Stephen J. French, MD, FRCS(c), works at Big Thunder Orthopedics in Thunderbay, Ontario.  Dr. French is an expert in sports medicine, particularly knee reconstruction.  He is the co-author of a book on high tibial osteotomy, otherwise known as the replacing of a joint that may be causing arthritis of the knee.  Dr. French also works for the orthopedic departments of McMaster University and the University of Ontario lecturing.  He holds a teaching position at the Northern Ontario School of Medicine, teaching new students the art of reconstruction of the bones and joints.
