He then went on to complete his internship in internal medicine at the same educational venue, followed by his training in dermatology at the Albert Einstein related hospitals, including Montefiore Hospital, Jacobi Hospital, and Lincoln Hospital. In his final year of residency, he was selected to be the chief resident.
An expert in changing the lives of their patients for the better, Dr. Freilich is board-certified in dermatology by the American Board of Dermatology, which is one of the 24 medical specialty boards that make up the American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS). He is also a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology (FAAD), a Fellow of the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery (FASDS), as well as a member of the Dermatologic Society of Greater New York and the American Contact Dermatitis Society.
