A seasoned cardiologist, Dr. Adiraju is the Founder and Medical Director of RENU-CA Research Institute in Bristol, Pennsylvania. He has a special interest in treating complex high-risk patients with both coronary and peripheral vascular disease, and has performed over 500 such procedures in his career. In addition, he has developed novel protocols for the management of severe systolic heart failure and dysautonomia. His autonomic neurohormonal modulation program, augmented with extended Impella hemodynamic support, has successfully reversed severe left ventricular dysfunction in close to 100 patients and avoided the need for defibrillators and other high-risk and expensive device therapies.

Born and raised in India, Dr. Adiraju received his medical degree from the Kasturba Gandhi Medical School. Upon relocating to the United States, he completed his residency in internal medicine at Shadyside Hospital, followed by a fellowship in interventional cardiology at Lankenau Hospital in Philadelphia.

Passionate about his profession, the doctor is board-certified in interventional cardiology, cardiovascular disease and internal medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM).
