Rae Lynn Kennedy, MD, FACOG, is an obstetrician and gynecologist at Kaiser Permanente, the Washington Hospital Center, and Holy Cross Hospital in the Suitland, Maryland area.  Earlier in her career, Dr. Kennedy was an Assistant Professor and Medical Student Clerkship Director at the Penn State Milton S. Hershey Medical Center.  She received multiple honors for her teaching, such as the Outstanding Teaching Award and the Association of Professors of Gynecology and Obstetrics Excellent Teaching Award.  With nearly 10 years of experience, Dr. Kennedy has special interest in pediatric and adolescent gynecology; which is an emerging specialty, at the intersection of pediatrics, pediatric endocrinology, gynecology, pediatric surgery, dermatology, psychiatry, public health medicine and genetics that addresses a wide spectrum of diseases from the newborn period to adolescence.
