You can not hurt the baby in the womb when you are sleeping.. Remember the baby is in a pool of amniotic fluid which protects the developing fetus. However after 20 weeks, you can no longer sleep on your back because the uterus compresses on a major blood vessel which may cause decrease blood flow to the uterus.
