Is Invisalign more permanent than braces?
Not sure what you are asking in this question but, Invisalign is clear aligners and they are removable, If you mean do they stay in, no they come in and out. Conventional braces have attachments and wires and they do not come off until your teeth are straight. If you are asking which is better, it depends on what your teeth look like prior to starting. There are limitations to Invisalign. Speak to your dentist to determine if you are a candidate for clear aligners. READ MORE

Not sure of the type of extractions (simple, impacted, root tips). How many? Historically, as long as you feel comfortable, there is no issue with sleeping on your side of the extraction. How long does it take for teeth to shift with braces?
It really depends on how much movement is necessary to get your teeth straight. Are you using clear aligners, conventional braces, an appliance?? Are dental implants long-lasting?
While dental implants have revolutionized the opportunity to restore you mouth to a healthy function, it should not be the goal you have set for yourself. Is there a reason as to why you feel like you need to? If you think it is keeping your teeth cleaner, whiter or healthier it is not. But to answer your question, it will NOT hurt you to rinse everyday, should you feel the need. READ MORE

Can wisdom teeth cause your gums to swell?
The short answer is yes. There is usually a flap of tissue that surrounds the tooth and sometimes that does not allow the tooth to erupt fully. Then food and bacteria get underneath the flap of tissue and causes swelling. We call that pericornitis...which actually means infection in the gums around the crown of the tooth. Go to your dentist and have them clean out affectively and determine if you have enough room for that tooth. READ MORE
How often do you need a teeth cleaning while doing Invisalign?
That is a great question. I believe that while you are in any kind of braces, conventional or clear aligners, you should be seen for your cleanings every 3 months.
