Sukir Sinnathamby, MD, FACC, FSCAI, maintains a position within in Buckeye Heart and Vascular Institute in Dayton, Ohio, and also maintains his own practice, Varicose to Perfect, located in Springboro, Ohio. A pioneer in the field, Dr. Sinnathamby has specific expertise in non-invasive evaluations, diagnostic angiograms, and vascular procedures; also having clinical interest in phlebology, cardiovascular diseases, and endovascular procedures. Holding multiple board certifications in his specialty fields, Dr. Sinnathamby was the first cardiologist to perform both carotid stents in 2011 and radiation therapy for heart stent restenosis. Aside from serving his heart patients, Dr. Sinnathamby is an Associate Director of the Venus Forum publication, teaches the fellowship program at Good Samaritan Hospital, and is an attending physician to many local hospitals. As one of the only doctors in the Dayton area that has the certifications to offer vascular ultrasounds, Dr. Sinnathamby takes a holistic approach to his practice – not only treating varicose veins but also identifying other medical issues or underlying conditions in each of his patients. Dr. Sinnathamby has also been recognized as a Fellow of the esteemed American College of Cardiology and the Society for Cardiovascular Angiography and Interventions.
