In little over a decade in practice, Dr. Robert Kyle Fullick has become a foremost expert of sports medicine and orthopedics in Texas. His career in medicine began in 2004 when he graduated from the University of Texas Medical School in Houston. He enjoyed great academic success and he was named Medical Student of the Year for 2000-2001. This was followed by an internship and residency at Harvard University. Gaining international experience, Dr. Fullick also took a fellowship at the Alps Surgery Institute in Annecy, France where he specialized in shoulder surgery before he returned to the United States to take a sports medicine fellowship at Baltimore’s Union Memorial Hospital. 

Dr. Fullick is board certified in orthopedic surgery and is also a member of the Arthroscopy Association of North America. He treats a wide range of conditions from sprains, fractures and dislocations to neck and back pain, but he specializes in the treatment of sports injuries, particularly shoulder injuries, both at the University of Texas and at the Iron Man Sports Medicine Institute.

Dr. Fullick keeps up with all the latest innovations in his field by reading the Journal of Shoulder and Elbow. When not treating sports injuries he is a keen sportsman himself, and while a very successful college baseball player he now likes to relax by playing golf or keeping fit at the gym. He says the secret to his success is listening to patients and communicating freely with them, and it is this patient centered focus that makes Dr. Robert Kyle Fullick a fitting new member of the International Association of HealthCare Professionals.
