Board certified gastroenterologist, Bassem W. Mazloum, MD, has been practicing gastroenterology for the past 19 years. He works at Gastroenterology Clinic of San Antonio, in San Antonio, Texas. Established in 1970, the Clinic is owned and operated by the eight physicians in the group and remains one of the most established medical group practices in San Antonio. It provides leading-edge subspecialty care to patients with disorders of the gastrointestinal tract, liver, pancreas, and gallbladder. Dr. Mazloum studied medicine in Lebanon at the University of Beirut and conducted his internal medicine residency training in the United States at St. Vincent Hospital in Worcester, Massachusetts. He is also fellowship-trained at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. In practice since 1995, he is an active member of the American College of Gastroenterology, the American Association for the Study of Liver Diseases and the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy.
