Recognized as “one of the nation’s leading Ayurvedic practitioners” by the Chicago Tribune, Dr. Nancy Lonsdorf is a distinguished integrative physician, author, speaker, and educator with a focus on Ayurveda, integrative medicine, women's health, and the prevention and reversal of cognitive decline. Dr. Lonsdorf earned her medical degree from the esteemed Johns Hopkins School of Medicine, followed by residency training in psychiatry at Stanford University. She is a Diplomate of the American Board of Integrative, Holistic Medicine (ABIHM) and has been honored with the Atreya Award for excellence in Ayurvedic practice from the Association of Ayurvedic Practitioners of North America. In 2017, she received the Award of Excellence in Holistic Medicine from the Holistic Doctors Recognition Board. Since launching her practice in Ayurveda and Integrative Medicine in 1987, Dr. Lonsdorf has successfully treated over 30,000 patients at the Maharishi Ayurveda Medical Center in Washington, DC, and the acclaimed Raj Ayurveda Health Spa in Fairfield, IA. Currently, she offers in-person consultations in Iowa and North Carolina, as well as virtual appointments to clients in Florida, California, New York, Iowa, North Carolina, and globally.
