Back in the early days of his academic career, Dr. Latimer completed his undergraduate education at Southern Adventist University in Collegedale, Tennessee, before pursuing his dental and medical degrees at Loma Linda University in Southern California. His extensive training includes a six-year residency in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery, where he gained valuable expertise in various areas, including facial trauma, dental implants, head and neck pathology, anesthesia and sedation, facial cosmetic surgery, dental extractions, facial reconstruction, and bone grafting.
As a board-certified diplomate of the American Board of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery since February 2017, Dr. Latimer consistently emphasizes the importance of ongoing education and staying at the forefront of advancements in the field. He maintains operating privileges at Falmouth Hospital and continuously seeks to improve patient care through the use of cutting-edge technology.
