Get to know Obstetrician-Gynecologist Dr. Meenakshi Jain, who serves patients in St. Petersburg, Florida.

As a highly regarded, board-certified obstetrician-gynecologist, Dr. Jain has been taking care of women of all ages for more than 25 years at her private practice in St. Petersburg, Florida. Utilizing state-of-the-art technologies, she offers a range of gynecological services and specializes in minimally invasive robotic gynecological surgery, endometriosis, urinary incontinence, and interstitial cystitis.

In addition to being a board-certified physician, Dr. Jain is expert trained in cosmetic treatments and aesthetic procedures for women. With an unwavering commitment to safety, compassion, and excellence, she offers a comprehensive array of cosmetic procedures for the body, skin, and face, all of which are performed at her St. Petersburg office. 

With years of experience, the doctor demonstrates professionalism and expertise in her gynecological services in a warm and caring environment. With many services ranging from menarche to menopause and beyond, her goal is to offer patient-centered medical care based on mutual trust and communication for all gynecological conditions and procedures.

Recognized as one of the Top 100 gynecologists in the United States and by Who’s Who in America, Dr. Jain is an Epicenter surgeon teaching robotics at St. Petersburg General Hospital, one of two epicenters in the state of Florida, and of twenty six epicenters devoted to teaching robotics to surgeons in the whole country. She has performed more than 2000 robotic surgeries and has done TV interviews on the benefits of robotics.

Through her dedication and commitment to excellence as a gynecologist, she is a honorable member of the American Society of Minimally Invasive Surgery, the Pinellas County Medical Society, the American Laparoscopic Society, the Association of Surgical Laparoscopists, the American Laser Society, and the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (Fellow – FACOG).

A woman of impact and a physician leader, she is affiliated with several hospitals in the state of Florida, including Northside Hospital, Palms of Pasadena Hospital, and Bayfront Medical Center. 

Pertaining to her educational background, Dr. Jain graduated with her Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree from Maulana Azad Medical College in 1974. Upon relocating to the United States, she went on to perform her residency at Rochester General Hospital in New York.

Demonstrating excellence at every level, she is board-certified in obstetrics and gynecology by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ABOG). The mission of the ABOG is to define standards, certify obstetricians and gynecologists, and facilitate continuous learning to advance knowledge, practice, and professionalism in women’s health.
