Back in 1982, Dr. Finch graduated with his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from the West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine. He then went on to complete his residency in internal medicine at the Kettering Health Network in 1986, and his fellowship in gastroenterology at the University of Kentucky College of Medicine in 1988.

Recognized as a Fellow of the American College of Gastroenterology (FACG), the doctor is board-certified in gastroenterology and internal medicine by the American Osteopathic Board of Internal Medicine, which is an organization that provides board certification to qualified Doctors of Osteopathic Medicine who specialize in the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of disease in adults.
