How to use an EpiPen on a child?
When you are administering the Epi Pen to a young child, hold the leg/thigh region firmly in place while administering. Place the orange tip against the middle of the outer thigh (upper leg) at a right angle (perpendicular) to the thigh. Swing and push the auto-injector firmly until it “clicks.” Make sure that you are holding the pen like a fist with your thumb wrapped around the other fingers on NOT at the orange tip. That is the key. If your thumb is placed on the orange tip it will not allow the needle to inject onto the thigh. READ MORE

Can you recommend a safe ointment for diaper rashes?
In my experience Lanolin and A&D ointment are great barrier ointments to help avoid rashes and calm redness of the skin. I use it myself with every diaper change with my own daughter. They are both safe products. READ MORE
