Robert P. Ferrara received his Doctor of Medicine degree in 1979 from Kansas City School of Medicine, a part of the University of Missouri. He then completed a residency at St. John’s Mercy Medical Center and a fellowship at St. Louis University Medical Center in Missouri. Dr. Ferrara is board-certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Disease and Cardiology by the American Board of Internal Medicine, and he is a member of the American College of Cardiology and the Society of Cardiac Angiography and Intervention. He is a highly-trained and qualified cardiologist who has been practicing for more than 37 years and is currently serving patients at Mercy Clinic Heart & Vascular in Creve Coeur, Missouri. Additionally, he is affiliated with Mercy Hospital St. Louis and Mercy Hospital Washington. Cardiology is a branch of internal medicine. A cardiologist, like Dr. Ferrara, specializes in diagnosing and treating diseases of the cardiovascular system. He attributes his success thanks to his ability to connect with his patients.
