Dr. Aguila earned his medical degree from the Boston University School of Medicine and completed many residencies. First, he participated in a residency in surgery at the Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, in Ohio and went on to study Otolaryngology with Mount Sinai Hospital, in New York. Finally, he completed residencies in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at The John Hopkins University and the University of Maryland, Baltimore. He maintains expertise in the fields of peripheral nerve surgery, comprehensive reconstructive surgery and aesthetic surgery. By maintaining board certifications in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery as well as Otolaryngology, Dr. Aguila stays up-to-date on developments in his field. Dr. Aguila’s specializations in comprehensive reconstructive and aesthetic surgery, include: nasal and upper airway corrective surgery, obstructive sleep apnea surgery, facial surgery, breast lift and breast augmentation, peripheral nerve surgery for chronic pain and diabetic neuropathy and pediatric ear, nose and throat surgery.
