Dr. Schwartz, a board-certified obstetrician-gynecologist, specializes in minimally invasive surgery, office-based surgery, and urogynecology. He feels that his job is a privilege, awarded to few, enabling him to be an intrinsic part of one of the most important and personal aspects of a woman’s life.

In 2003, he opened his private practice, David B. Schwartz, MD, Obstetrics and Gynecology, in Cincinnati, Ohio. Passionate about dealing with expectant mothers, he and his staff remain devoted to the health care of women from adolescence to advanced maturity. They provide a full spectrum of gynecology and obstetrics services, working throughout the entire perinatal process, including preconception, prenatal care, labor and delivery, and the post-partum period.

In addition to serving patients in private practice, the doctor continues to operate as an independent physician with an affiliation at the following hospitals: The Christ Hospital, Bethesda North Hospital, The University of Cincinnati Hospital, and The Good Samaritan Hospital. 

A Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, he is board-certified through the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology, which is a non-profit organization that provides board certification for practicing obstetricians and gynecologists in the United States and Canada. 

Throughout his educational background, Dr. Schwartz graduated cum laude from Cornell University in 1974 and obtained his medical degree from the University of Michigan in 1978. Since completing his residency at the University of Cincinnati in 1982, he has been caring for the health of women in Cincinnati.
