Get to know Psychiatrist Dr. Daniel W. Rosenn, who serves the population of Wellesley, Massachusetts. Dr. Rosenn is a highly-trained and qualified child, adolescent, and general psychiatrist with vast expertise in all facets of his work, especially child psychiatry and high functioning Autistic Spectrum Disorder (formerly called Asperger’s syndrome). Dr. Rosenn has been practicing for over 47 years and is currently serving patients at his private practice in Wellesley, Massachusetts. He had an interest in patients with Asperger’s Disorder before the disease was even formally recognized, and thus became one of the early psychiatrists to deal with patients affected by this condition. Dr. Rosenn received his medical degree at Stanford University School of Medicine in 1969 and his Master of Science in Public Health at Harvard University in 1974. He then trained in Developmental Pediatrics at Boston Children’s Hospital, Adult Psychiatry at McLean Hospital and Child Psychiatry at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. Dr. Rosenn is board certified in psychiatry by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology and maintains active memberships with the American Psychiatric Association, the Massachusetts Medical Society, Massachusetts Psychiatric Society, and the New England Council of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. Dr. Rosenn credits his success to a solid education, excellent mentoring, and superb supervisors who helped shape his thinking on therapeutic relationships, medication and creative treatment.
