Adult tooth is loose. What should I do?
After trauma to the face or mouth area, you definitely need to be seen by a dentist immediately. If a tooth is loose, it may have been dislodged from the socket, in which case it needs to be splinted and then monitored. It is also possible that the root of the tooth itself or the bone that the tooth sits in has been fractured (broken). There would be less chance of saving the tooth if this is the case. You need to see a dentist right away to have X-rays taken and get a proper examination to determine the state of your tooth and surrounding tissues. I hope this is helpful! READ MORE
