A Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons and Physicians, Dr. Gernot Schram is an established clinical cardiologist currently providing care at Lakeshore General Hospital in Pointe-Claire, Quebec, Canada. In addition, he works as Clinical Researcher at Montreal Heart Institute and Clinical Cardiologist at West Island Cardiology Center in Pointe-Claire, MUHC Cardiovascular Center. To begin his career, Dr. Schram attended the University of Tübingen and earned his medical degree in 1995. In 2006, he completed his PhD in Cellular and Molecular Biology from the University of Montreal. Wanting to further his knowledge in the field, Dr. Schram went on to complete his internal medicine residency in 2007 from the University of Montreal, his cardiology residency in 2010, and his cardiac electrophysiology fellowship in 2012. Furthermore, Dr. Schram completed his echocardiography fellowship in 2012 from the University of Montreal. On a more personal note, Dr. Schram is fluent in English, French, and German.
