Sirdofsky, MD, is a neurological surgeon in the Department of Neurology at Georgetown University Medical Center/Pasquerilla Healthcare Center in Washington D.C. he is Director of the EMG Laboratory/Neuromuscular Division, Director of the MDA Clinic, and an Associate Professor in the Department of Neurology at Georgetown University. He specializes in peripheral nerve disorders, autonomic testing, electroencephalography, electrophysiology, and EMG/neuromuscular diseases. Dr. Sirdofsky received his medical degree in 1976 at Georgetown University School of Medicine, interned at Long Island Jewishâ??Hillside Medical Centers, served his residency at Georgetown University Medical Center, and obtained his certification in 1980 in neurology. Dr. Sirdofsky is interested in researching Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS). He just finished participating in the Nuedexta trial for bulbar dysfunction in ALS and results will be released in November. He is excited to be a part of the interdisciplinary translational neurotherapeutics program to explore the potential benefits of Nilotinib in ALS. Dr. Sirdofsky is board-certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology and is a professional member of the American Academy of Neurology.
