About

Dr. Nancy Buckner is a board certified outpatient Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist. I work one day in private practice in Scottsdale, AZ and I work 4 days at Phoenix Indian Medical Hospital. I grew up with a chronic medical illness that started in childhood. These experiences led me into my current career. I provide psychiatric evaluations and medication management. I love working with children and adolescents because therapeutic interventions at a young age can really change the trajectory of a child's life. I see my patients get better and this is very exciting and gratifying for me. I also see adults in both practices. I find that my background in child and adolescent psychiatry helps me to understand the adult patient better as well.
