Michael Paul Vietz received his Doctor of Medicine Degree in 1988 from the American University of the Caribbean School of Medicine in Coral Gables, Florida. He then completed an internship and residency at the Baltimore Medical Center in Maryland. Dr. Vietz is board-certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, and remains a professional member of the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists. He is a highly-trained OB/GYN who has been practicing for over 28 years and is currently serving patients at the Carroll Health Group in Eldersburg, Maryland. He is also affiliated with the Carroll Hospital Center, where serves as Director of Minimally Invasive Surgery. Obstetrics and Gynecology is the medical specialty that encompasses two subspecialties: obstetrics (pregnancy, childbirth, and the postpartum period) and gynecology (the health of the female reproductive systems). As an OB/GYN, Dr. Vietz has vast expertise in several areas relating to his line of work, especially minimally invasive surgery. In his spare time, he enjoys racing cars.
