Dr. Magua is a highly trained, board-certified obstetrician-gynecologist who is easy going, caring, and a good listener. She treats the full spectrum of OB/GYN issues, including adolescent counseling, leep procedures, menopause management, and urinary incontinence. 

In practice with Comprehensive OB-GYN Broward in Coral Springs, Florida, patients of Dr. Magua receive compassionate gynecological and obstetrical care from a doctor who puts them at ease and explains things to them in terms they can understand. She also provides very personal pregnancy care and both in-office permanent sterilization (Essure® and Adiana) and laparoscopic or postpartum tubal ligation.

With a goal to provide progressive healthcare to women throughout the lifecycle, Dr. Magua also offers a full range of aesthetic services, including ThermiVa® vaginal revitalization, dermal fillers, Dysport®, and Botox® at GYN Aesthetics & Wellness in Coral Springs.

Highly trained on the latest technology, she is a certified da Vinci robotic surgeon specializing in advanced laparoscopic and robotic-assisted surgeries for the management of benign gynecologic disorders such as uterine fibroids, endometriosis, and ovarian cysts. She also offers women minimally invasive options for the treatment of abnormal uterine bleeding using office-based endometrial ablation techniques (Novasure®, Thermachoice®, Hydrothermablation & more™).

Following the completion of her undergraduate and postgraduate education at Northwestern University and the University of Illinois at Chicago, Dr. Magua went on to pursue her studies in medicine. She earned her medical degree from the University of Illinois College of Medicine, after which she performed her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Aurora Health Care (affiliated with the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health).

A Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, the doctor is board-certified in obstetrics and gynecology by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ABOG). The ABOG is a non-profit organization that provides board certification for practicing obstetricians and gynecologists in the United States and Canada.

Obstetrics and Gynecology is the medical specialty that encompasses the two subspecialties of obstetrics and gynecology. An obstetrician-gynecologist, or OB-GYN, is a healthcare professional who specializes in female reproductive health. 

Throughout her line of work, Dr. Magua has been the recipient of several awards and honors, including Novartis Award (Outstanding Community Service) in 2004, Warren J. Cohen, MD Humanitarian Award (Intern of the year) in 2007-2008, Teaching Excellence Award from the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health in 2008 and 2010, Dr. Samuel G. Perlson Undergraduate Education Award in 2007-2008, and an Award given by the Midwifery Group of Aurora Sinai Medical Center recognizing Dr. Magua as the most compassionate and organic caregiver among her peers.

A native Floridian, she is fluent in both English and Spanish.
