Get to know Rheumatologist Dr. Nazee Farsi, who serves patients in Riverside, California.

A board-certified rheumatologist, Dr. Farsi provides care for many different rheumatic diseases at Arthritis Medical Clinic, implementing the most up to date science and recent developments in treatment strategies.

With a broad educational background, she received her medical degree from the National University of Iran in 1995. Upon relocating to the United States, she completed her residency in internal medicine at the Union Memorial Hospital in 2010. Finally, she completed her fellowship in rheumatology at Louisiana State University of Health Sciences in 2013.

Recognized as a Fellow of the American College of Rheumatology (FACR), the doctor is board-certified in rheumatology and internal medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM). The ABIM is a physician-led, non-profit, independent evaluation organization driven by doctors who want to achieve higher standards for better care in a rapidly changing world.

Rheumatology is a branch of medicine devoted to the diagnosis and treatment of rheumatic diseases. Physicians who have undergone formal training in rheumatology are called rheumatologists. Rheumatologists treat arthritis, autoimmune diseases and osteoporosis.

Among her most notable achievements, Dr. Farsi has been a recipient of the Exceptional Women in Medicine Award (2020, 2021), and Top Doctor Award by Palm Springs Life Magazine (2021).
