Dr. Robert Abate, Jr is a native of Rocky Hill where he currently resides with his wife. He is a family oriented individual who strives to educate, and better those around him through holistic, and preventative healthcare. Dr. Abate has a passion for promoting a healthy lifestyle throughout the community by means of exercise, nutrition, and positive well being, which is what attracted him to this profession. He first experienced the benefits of chiropractic care over 20 years ago, while a young athlete and has been getting adjusted ever since. He continues to utilize the numerous benefits of chiropractic while maintaining his peak performance as he continues to practice his love of sports.
Dr. Abate received his Bachelors of Science degree in Exercise Science and Health Promotion from Central Connecticut State University in 2011. He was a scholar athlete, and defensive back on the 2009 NEC championship football team. Dr. Abate is a Certified Exercise Physiologist, holding a personal training certification through the American College of Sports Medicine. He obtained his Doctor of Chiropractic Degree in 2016 from the University of Bridgeport College of Chiropractic.
