About

Dr. Ana graduated from the Pacific College of Oriental Medicine (PCOM), a prestigious acupuncture school in the United States. She is also licensed by the California State Acupuncture Board (L.Ac.) and Certified Cupping Therapist.

 

She was born in Brazil, where she spent her childhood and early adult years. She has worked as a pre-school teacher and in the corporate marketing field, and came across acupuncture in search for healing of her own ailments. She was fascinated by Oriental Medicine and her professional life took a big turn.

 

She has years of experience working in the clinical setting both at PCOM and her private practice. She interned at Rady’s Children Hospital in both inpatient and outpatient settings.

Dr. Ana is the mother of 2 young children and has experienced the wonders and struggles of conception, pregnancy, and pre/postpartum periods. She understands the challenges of raising a child and providing a safe, nurturing and healthy environment while engendering a well-adjusted citizen.
